General
DHA Security Company was enstablished in Jan 2007 to assist the DHA Security Branch in controlling street crimes.
Main Object of DHA Security
To provide security to DHA by protecting its boundaries and assets through implementation of DHA bye-laws.
To provide limited assistance to police in providing secure, safe, protective and healthy living environment.
To improve Security environment in DHA during night hours.
To perform watch and ward duty in the streets by performing following:-
Checking of servants sitting outside the houses.
Checking of open gate of houses.
Checking of suspicious persons roaming in the area of responsibility.
Checking of vehicle / motorcycle without number plate
To check, reduce and guard against thefts / decoities
To assist DHA Security Branch in Performance of their duty
LAND ORIENTED Tasks of Security Force
Protection and security of DHA boundaries.
To ensure security of purchased land.
Acquire possession of land to implement court orders.
Prevention / elimination of encroachments and adverse possession of disputed land.
Police Oriented
Assist police in controlling crimes.
Patrolling by day/night.
Reinforcement of check posts established by police.
Liaison with local police/civil administration and army.
Registration of domestic servants in preparation of cards and their checking.
Miscellaneous
Enforcement of DHA bye-Laws.
Security of mosques.
Investigation / verification of property dealers and individual cases.
Assist in registration of FIR and pursuance of legal cases.
Book open plots for functions and ensure their legitimate use.
Distribution of utility bills, mail, circulars etc to residents.
Assist to organize Sunday bazaar by providing security cover.
Check unauthorized use of advertisement.
Impounding of animals and dog shooting.
Perform limited traffic control duties within DHA.
Check and eliminate commercial activities in residential areas.
Approved Rates of street warden charges
Following recovery rates have been approved by the President DHA since 2007 and are being recovered from residents on quarterly basis:-
2 Kanal House – Rs. 500/- per house per month
1 Kanal House – Rs. 400/-
10 Marla House & Above – Rs. 300/-
