BOL TV is a part of “Labbaik (pvt) Ltd” and BOL News is part of the Asia News Network with Malik Riaz being the owner of the company. The tv channel has started hiring on massive scale including reporters, newscasters, anchors, hosts etc. Big names are said to join the channel soon. The delay in launch of the channel was due to legal issues. Initially the news said that interior ministry withdrew the NOC of BOL TV due to the following reasons:
-Company was said to be owned by the property tycoon Malik Riaz
-Petitioners wanted to know about the source of funding that is being used to run a huge media house such as BOL TV
-Court has asked PEMRA to listen to point of view of petitioners and then decide
