DHA Quetta to be developed on modern Lines: Brig Javed
he Real Estate and Business community showed keen interest in the project upon which he assured that DHA Quetta will be launched very soon. The event was organised at DHA Golf & Country Club Karachi by corporate estate and asset management along with the Land providers to Introduce DHA Quatta which will be the first ever DHA project in the province of Balochistan.
The event was graced by Administrator DHA Quetta “Brigadier Muhammad Javed Iqbal”, as a Chief Guest. The other Key officials of DHA Quetta also made it convenient to grace the occasion.
Multiple dignitaries presented at the event, warmly welcomed DHA Quetta vis a vis shared their precious viewpoints including Guest of Honor Mr. Junaid Makda (President KCCI) Engr Daroo Khan Achakzai (President FPCCI) Mr. Hassan Bakshi (Chairman ABAD) Mr. Raja Mazhar (President DEFCLEREA) Madam Tahira Ather Naseem (V.P DSRA) and Mr. Bashir Memon (V.P Federation of Realtors).

Chief Guest emphasized that DHA Quetta will be developed as a state of the art project encompassing Health, Education and other allied facilities along with modern residential structure. We are keen to provide better residential, educational and business facilities to people from all walks of life. He also highlighted that the Capital of Balochistan needs a Modern Housing Society to fill the existing vacuum of modern life style. The concept of DHA Quetta was conceptualized to address the needs of the Capital of the Largest Province of Pakistan in 2015 after passing of the ACT from the assembly. The land acquisition for the project is under process and DHA Quetta has already acquired large chunks of land.
The Bids for the Gatehouse design of the main entrance have already been asked for submission and the ground breaking for this gatehouse will be done very soon. According to the participants of this event, the DHA Quetta is surely going to be the cynosure of Pakistan real estate sector and will be remembered as one of the most successful and beneficial real estate projects of the country.

DHA Quetta Latest – A Quick Overview of the Project
DHA Quetta will be the second project by Pakistan Armed forces in Balochistan, after the launch of Naval Anchorage Gwadar in the port city. Although, there is still no official word available regarding DHA Quetta booking or launching date, but the year 2017 was filled with speculations regarding the housing scheme. In the below lines, you will be provided with all the details about the project and its reality.
DHA Quetta Bill in Balochistan Assembly
To give a legal status to DHA Quetta, its various functions and administration, a legislative bill was passed on October 2, 2015 by Balochistan Assembly. The structure for DHA Quetta Governing Body and Executive Board was explained in the bill. The Commander Southern Command, Quetta will head the both bodies according to the DHA Quetta Act.
DHA Quetta Website & Pak Army Response
DHA Quetta was in the headlines right from the start of 2017. A private real estate marketing company launched a website by the name of DHA Quetta for providing information to interested buyers. Pakistan Army, through ISPR, responded that until there is official launch of the project, no such marketing gimmicks can be allowed. The website was taken down afterwards.
Only a few days after the incident, an official advertisement was published by Pakistan Army, asking from general public to submit their suggestions for DHA Quetta logo and moto. This validated the news that actually such a project was in the pipeline for future launch in the provincial capital.

After 6 months of indirect “announcement” of DHA Quetta, another advertisement was published in 2017 by Pakistan Army. In this advertisement, vacancies for a new DHA Quetta Office were announced. Staff vacancies announced included positions like Director Finance, Direct Information Technology, Legal Officer, Manager Personnel, Surveyors, Estate Land Officer and many other general positions.

DHA Quetta again attracted limelight in the month of July when Senate’s Standing Committee on Defence approved a land acquisition report for DHA Quetta. According to the report approved by legislative body, Balochistan Revenue Act needs to be amended to make payments for DHA Quetta land.

There are many rumors circling the real estate market regarding DHA Quetta location. But there is hardly any concrete evidence available regarding the exact location of the housing scheme. So far, only a little apart from what was relayed in the news, could be learnt about the project. Just today, a notice was published where DHA invited applications for agent registration. So naturally, many are convinced that DHA Quetta files are soon to be launched.

These include land or parts of land in Kateer, Samali, Gadazai Malazai, Karak, Tarkha Gordat Singh, Mehtarzai, Chashma Baleli, Chashma Achozai, Sra Ghurghai, Sra Khula, Hanna, and Tor Ragha, including uninhabited areas of the valley astride Shaban Road up till Shamozai Dam.
If you aren’t familiar with these mouzas in Quetta, you should know that these mouzas are parts of Kuchlak Circle, Baleli Circle, Nauhisar Circle, and Durrani-2 Circle.
What’s next?
Well, towards the end of the year or start of the next, DHA Quetta affidavit files will be out in the market. Inviting dealer applications for registration will assist in the resale of these files.
