Step-by-Step Foreign Transfer Process for Sellers Abroad
1. Complete Transfer Set
The owner or their representative must prepare a complete transfer set including:
• CVT 1 form
• IT-5 form
• NDC (No Demand Certificate)
• Site Plan (if required)
2. Embassy/Consulate Attestation
All documents must be duly attested by the Pakistan Embassy or Consulate in the seller’s country of residence. A request letter for transfer must also be included.
3. Attested Copies of Identification Documents
• CNIC of the owner (duly attested).
• Passport and visa pages with exit and entry stamps (duly attested).
4. Authority Letter
An authority letter must be issued to a representative in Pakistan. This should be prepared on E-stamp paper worth Rs.100 and attested by an Oath Commissioner.
5. Fee Receipt from Embassy/Consulate
A receipt from the Embassy or Consulate confirming document attestation must be included.
6. Verification & NDC Submission
Once submitted in DHA Lahore’s Transfer Branch, the documents are verified through QR codes. After this, the NDC process is pursued.
7. Final Transfer Execution
The transfer is carried out in the presence of the authorized representative holding the authority letter.
