6th September, 1965, a memorable chapter in the history of Pakistan, when Pakistani military along with the countrymen stood united for the defence of Pakistan. It was the day when unity and patriotism were seen in true sense; as the whole nation got united to sacrifice their lives. To remember that glorious day, it was named as “Defence Day” and it will ever have a superlative place in the history of Pakistan.
Defence Day is always celebrated in Pakistan as a national day on 6th September in order to make every generation realize how people sacrificed their lives for the defence of Pakistan, how brave and fearless they were and how we should always be prepared for any such situation.
Celebrate this day keeping its true essence in view, as we have earned this beloved country with our forefathers’ sweat and blood. May ALLAH Almighty give us the courage and fortitude to keep the spirit alive!
